Windy Hill Log Homes We manufacture log homes in the chinked and fully-scribed fashion at our worksite.  The logs are first peeled then allowed to dry, then re-knifed, and finally scribed and fit together with painstaking care.  Our basic log kits include 4 log walls, log gable ends, purlin roof logs, loft logs, porch purlins, settling screws, and vertical post for the porch. Log butt sizes for our standard kits range from 10" to 14".
