Indiana Log Cabin Facts
The Wayne County Historical Museum located in Richmond has exhibits that include two log cabins of local origin. Logan Cabin in old Fairfield, Indiana. Built by Captain William Logan of the Revolutionary War ca 1809. In the 1960′s the Corps of Engineers built Brookville Lake. Fairfield was the only town in the Whitewater River Valley so this cabin no longer exists.
