One TIME® WOOD Guarantee
Cleveland, OH (OPENPRESS) February 19, 2008 -- Bond Distributing, Ltd., developers and distributors of advanced wood protection technology, has announced an unprecedented guarantee that warrants log homes protected by One TIME® WOOD will never require corn cob blasting or stripping.
One TIME® WOOD protector is a unique exterior wood protection formula that uses a proprietary acrylate resin blend to provide long-term protection from deteriorating elements. Unlike conventional exterior wood treatments, One TIME® penetrates deep into the substrate's cellular structure and cures into the wood with natural sunlight. It cannot evaporate or wash away like other products that simply coat the wood surface. ?One TIME® encapsulates the wood keeping moisture out.

"One TIME® is unlike any other wood treatment. It penetrates the wood, it cures into the wood and it does not form a film," says Fishel. "As a result, there is never a need to corn cob blast or strip the surface when reapplying."
Corn cob blasting is the standard process of removing existing stains and weather discoloration from years of age on a log home. The waterless process uses heavy duty commercial equipment and requires the use of OSHA approved blasting protective gear.
"We guarantee that if a log home protected by One TIME® WOOD requires corn cob blasting or stripping to apply a subsequent One TIME application, we will pay to have it done," says Fishel.
One TIME® WOOD contains no water, wax or solvents. The resins are cured by natural sunlight and become part of the cellular structure of the wood. It contains 100 percent solids, where conventional treatments usually contain only 15-40 percent solids. Conventional treatments also typically contain water and/or solvents that can cause the wood's cellular structure to swell, then shrink as it dries, causing cracking. Water and solvents also dissipate quickly into the air. And because most wood treatments build up on the surface and eventually wash away, it becomes necessary to reseal the wood every one-to-two years.
One TIME® wood protector is a liquid formula that provides long-term protection from water, fungal growth and UV radiation. It is very easy to apply using any standard method - brush, low nap roller, paint pad, or an airless paint sprayer.
